Went on a Sunday- beach was rather crowded. We found a tiny seperate beach to take the jet ski in and out which another couple friendly group shared with us. Didn't see any park officials other than near the rental shop which was nice. Very open to enjoy the are as you please. And it only cost me $4 to come in and park. My only con would be how crowded it can get on a nice day, If they clear out a couple more water accesses I'll upgrade this to a 5 banger
Fishing is allowed, and there are nice areas over the hill for group gatherings.
Great place to spend the day swimming and fishing. Also Kingston Days fair, car show, and town yard sale will keep you coming back every year.
Always clean, with new facilities, kayak rentals, and a concessions stand. Water is great, and it's open until 7pm.
Absolutely beautiful place to swim and picnic, picnic tables small grills, playground. Able to use floats and tubes. No lifeguard on duty. Such a relaxing place.
It's ok, compared to some other state parks though is a little expensive. Picnic area and changing rooms are decent and were pretty clean. The lake itself is ok, but afterwards we all felt kinda slimy and were pretty itchy and needed a shower. Overall ok, not sure I'll go back though with all the other options out there.
